Job description

Forklift Operator/Picker

Summary of Position
The Forklift Operator/Picker is responsible for pulling product components to satisfy client orders. They will do so by managing pick ticket orders by physically pulling product components, placing them on a pallet, and delivering them to their designated drop-off location (Assembly/Shipping).

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities
  • Manage pick ticket orders from start to finish while being timely and accurate.
  • Pull warehouse items from the shelves based on number, size, color, quantity, and quality requirements.
  • Ensure that orders are picked without damage.
  • Stage items correctly for production, if required.
  • Operate equipment safely.
  • Assist with stock replenishment.
  • Help maintain the cleanliness/organization of the warehouse.
  • Performs other general warehouse duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects for extended periods of time.
  • Safety conscious.
  • Knowledge of OSHA/Forklift Certification. (ProCraft will train all employees who are willing to learn!)
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
