Job description

Job Title: Loan Processor  

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Processor to join our lending operations team. The ideal candidate will have deep familiarity with residential investment lending, particularly Fix-and-Flip and DSCR loan programs. This role is critical in ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of loans from submission to closing, supporting investors and borrowers with a seamless and responsive experience.

Key Responsibilities

Loan Intake & Initial Review

  • Review and validate loan applications and required documentation (credit, income, entity docs, purchase contracts, etc.)
  • Ensure completeness and accuracy prior to submission to underwriting
  • Set up files in LOS (Loan Origination System) and maintain all documentation in compliance with internal and regulatory standards

Borrower Communication & Support

  • Act as the primary point of contact for borrowers, brokers, and the sales team throughout the processing cycle
  • Clearly communicate outstanding document needs, next steps, and timelines

Coordination & Pipeline Management

  • Coordinate with third parties, including title companies, inspections, insurance agents, and closing agents.
  • Monitor and manage a pipeline of active loans to ensure all files are progressing toward timely closings
  • Follow up with internal underwriting and credit teams for file decisions and escalations as needed
  • Verify compliance with loan program guidelines, investor overlays, and risk tolerances

  • Experience processing loans for real estate investors (single-family, multi-family, short-term bridge loans)
  • Familiarity with various ownership structures (LLCs, corporations, trusts)

Base Salary Range
