Position Summary:

Venture Logistics, an established asset-based transportation company, is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Recruiting Support Specialist to assist our Driver Recruiting team. This role plays a key part in ensuring a smooth and efficient hiring process for all incoming drivers by managing application flow, verifying employment history, and supporting recruiters with daily administrative needs.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily administrative and operational support to the Driver Recruiting team
  • Obtain and process Verifications of Employment (VOEs) for all incoming driver candidates using multiple platforms and vendors
  • Communicate clearly and consistently with recruiters and Safety regarding applicant status and outstanding VOEs
  • Research alternative methods to secure missing or hard-to-obtain employment verifications
  • Accurately enter, track, and manage applicant data within assigned worklists
  • Review a high volume of driver applications quickly and thoroughly
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance and timely onboarding
  • Utilize Tenstreet to manage candidate information
Requirements:

REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or GED required, Associates degree preferred

REQUIRED SKILLS (TECHNICAL, CLERICAL, LANGUAGE, ETC.)

  • 1โ€“2 years of experience in recruiting support, transportation administration, or a related office/clerical role preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks at once
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Experience with Tenstreet preferred
  • Prior experience in transportation, recruiting, or administrative support is a plus
