  • Schedule:Westchester - Bedford Parkt, Rotating shifts (5 weeks)
  • Hourly Rate: $28.05 to $33.51 hourly
  • Benefits: Effective the first of the month post-hire - medical, dental, vision, and disability insurance, plus a Health Savings Account (HSA)
  • 401K Plan: Up to 3% match, plus an additional 3.5% contribution

Work environment:

Our Bedford Park plant is a dynamic, 300-acre facility operating 24/7, 365 days a year. You'll be part of a unionized team working rotating 5-week shifts across three shifts (8-16 hours), five days a week. While the work is challenging, it offers opportunities for growth and stability.

The plant atmosphere can be demanding, with varying temperatures, noise levels, and potential exposure to heights. Respiratory protection may be required in certain areas and it also may also involve encounters with pests.

What you will do:
  • Operate and maintain equipment, transforming corn into its valuable components.
  • Ensure our products meet the highest standards of purity and consistency.
  • Identify and resolve challenges to optimize efficiency and product quality.
  • Contribute to process improvements and new product development.
  • Safely operate and maintain production equipment within specifications.
  • Diagnose equipment issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Identify and recommend enhancements to processes and procedures.
  • Monitor production operations through computer systems and controls.
  • Conduct product sampling and testing to ensure compliance.
  • Load, unload, and transport raw materials and finished products.
  • Perform physically demanding tasks (standing and walking for extended periods, climbing stairs and ladders, working in confined spaces, etc.)
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and product movement.
  • Safely handle and work with chemicals according to guidelines
  • Prioritize safety in every action, safeguarding yourself and your team.
  • Learn and perform various job duties as needed.
What you will bring:
  • High school diploma or GED (required)
  • Ability to pass pre-employment assessments, background checks, and physical and drug screenings as required. (required)
  • Read, write, and speak English (required)
  • OSHA certification (desirable)
