Job description

SUMMARY
The Business Applications and Process Manager is responsible for leading the design, governance, and continuous improvement of business processes that support the organization's ERP platform, business applications, and operational workflows. This position partners with business leaders, developers, and IT leadership to prioritize technology initiatives, standardize enterprise processes, and ensure business applications deliver measurable operational value. The role oversees the translation of business needs into scalable system solutions while driving project execution, automation initiatives, and AI-enabled process improvements across the organization.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Analyze existing business processes, workflows, and system interactions to identify inefficiencies, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  2. Manage ERP, business application, and process improvement projects from concept through deployment, ensuring requirements are clearly defined, milestones are achieved, resources are effectively coordinated, and project objectives are delivered on time and within scope
  3. Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, subject matter experts, and development teams to define priorities, resolve process challenges, and ensure successful solution delivery.
  4. Support the development of AI-enabled solutions by defining process inputs, outputs, decision points, and governance requirements.
  5. Design and document future-state processes that align with organizational objectives and maximize ERP and application functionality.
  6. Gather, evaluate, and document business requirements for system enhancements, integrations, and new technology solutions.
  7. Define business rules, process logic, data requirements, and exception handling procedures to support solution development.
  8. Collaborate with technical teams to ensure requirements are translated into scalable and sustainable system designs.
  9. Evaluate enhancement requests and recommend priorities based on business value, efficiency gains, scalability, and user impact.
  10. Monitor solution effectiveness, analyze performance metrics, and recommend continuous improvement initiatives.
  11. Partner with stakeholders to support change management, user adoption, and training efforts related to new processes and technologies.
  12. Special projects and assignments as business dictates.
  13. Responsible for the maintenance, creation and control of all personally identifiable information or any other information protected by any Confidentiality or Privacy Standards or Company Policies that you have access or knowledge of, including but not limited to any state or federal regulations including HIPAA.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Information Systems, or a related field required.
  • 8+ years of experience in process engineering, business analysis, or operations within an ERP-driven environment required.
  • Experience working in a Scrum environment required
  • Strong understanding of ERP systems and integration with supporting applications; Amtech experience preferred.
  • Experience translating business requirements into technical specifications and actionable development requirements.
  • Knowledge of process mapping, workflow analysis, business process improvement, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Familiarity with automation technologies, data quality management, and AI-supported business processes.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
  • Must have attention to detail and focused concentration.
  • Must be able to learn new tasks and complete tasks independently.
  • Must be able to make timely decisions in the context of the workflow.
  • Must possess strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task and responsiveness.
