Description
As a part of our continued growth, we are looking for dedicated and passionate employees to grow with our company and excel at your highest abilities. At Enterprise Recycling Wrench A Part, we strive to have the best supply and prices in Texas! Our plan to accomplish this goal is provide quality recycled auto and truck parts using superior customer service at a price that will prove that used auto parts are the best value on the market today. As a Yard Processor, you will be responsible for the following:
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in department as well as identify products that can be harvested prior to ripping operation
  • Foster good relationships with, yard cleaner, parts puller, other employees and managers
  • Participate in safety meetings
  • Pull and stage non-traditional cores, catalytic converters, commodities that are not harvested currently during draining and ripping process
  • Pull airbags both deployed as assigned nondeployed that have value
  • Pull beds including but not limited to OEM truck beds and utility beds to be staged for sale of presold
  • Help keep expenses down by thinking outside the box and making recommendations to Yard Processing Manager
  • Help generate as much additional revenue as possible to offset payroll of the department and to contribute to the bottom line
  • Always act in the best interest of the company
  • Complete any other tasks assigned by the Yard Processing Manager including buy not limited to yard cleaning, wheel stand inspection, weed spraying etc
    • Assist:
    • Yard Cleaner
    • Yard Pullers
    • Exit inventory clerk
    • Tire grader
  • Pull, inspect, transport and stage parts at the direction of the Yard Processing Manager
  • Keep tools organized and protected from loss, theft and the weather

Requirements
  • High School graduate - BUT NOT REQUIRED
  • Organizational Skills
  • Work in concert with the Yard Processing Manager to hit objectives and expectations monthly, weekly, and daily
  • Always act in the best interest of Wrench A Part. Employees must take pride in doing things correctly following the direction of their manager
  • Must be able to lift and carry 25 lbs repetitive and up to 75 lbs occasionally
  • Personal protective equipment required- Hard hats and safety glasses, gloves and any other safety gear will be issues upon request
