Job description

SWING SHIFT SUPERVISOR
Ganahl Lumber is looking for a Swing Shift Supervisor to join our team in our Anaheim team. This position is fast paced and requires the ability to multitask while supporting our sales team and solving problems for our customers. The responsibilities include but are not limited to: Processing customer orders, locating material and verifying the condition of all returned products, processing of daily sales tickets, managing the open order list for all daily orders, scheduling and assigning work to order pullers, monitoring turnaround times.
The ideal candidate has a customer-first mindset and aims to deliver high-quality service in every customer interaction. The ideal candidate should have the following skill set:
  • Excellent attendance
  • Positive attitude
  • Proficient with Accuterm, scheduling, ticket writing, credit memo, along with Word and Excel programs
  • Product knowledge in multiple categories a plus
  • Ability to ensure quality assurance for all loads built on the second shift
  • Works well with team to accomplish common Goals
  • Great communication skills both verbal and written

Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years proven experience in supporting client success.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to address complaints and issues with effective solutions and a positive attitude
  • Passion for delighting customers with above and beyond service
