Summary
Basys is a leading merchant services provider for banks across the country. We are a privately held business that continues to experience exponential growth year after year. As a Sales Manager, you will be developing relationships with C-level individuals, CFOs, VPs, and Controllers; as well as leading your team through goal setting, problem-solving, and coaching. This manager will lead a team of 8-10 sales executives focused on selling credit and debit card payment processing solutions to merchants through our network of Fintech and other referral partners.
Duties & Responsibilities
Essential Functions
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales executives to achieve revenue and growth targets.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies in alignment with company goals and market opportunities.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with referral partners to drive referral business and support merchant acquisition efforts.
  • Monitor KPIs and implement data-driven strategies to optimize sales effectiveness.
  • Maintain a sales pipeline full of activity for both you and your team
  • Ensure all sales executives are fully utilizing our CRM system
  • Partner with internal teams, including marketing and operations, to enhance the sales process and customer experience.

Additional Responsibilities
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory requirements to position the company's solutions effectively.
  • Manage the development plans of each Sales Rep.
  • Driving growth through focused sales activity that results in increased account and market penetration
  • Report on sales performance, forecasts, and market insights to Senior Leadership.
  • Continually drive for improvement of sales processes, including sales forecasting, data quality, new growth opportunities and risk analysis, sales playbooks, etc.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned region as needed.

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, marketing or other related fields required.
  • Minimum 3 years Sales Management Experience, preferably in the payments, financial services, or FinTech industry.
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing sales teams and exceeding revenue and new client targets.
  • Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with both internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems to monitor lead generation, performance, and effectiveness.
