Job Summary and Qualifications

The Sterile Services Manager is a trained individual who assumes the role of Sterile Services leader, assisting the Director of Perioperative Services in planning, directing and managing the Sterile Services staff to assure quality service to the hospital on a 24-hour basis. 

The Manager assists the Director of Perioperative Services to meet regulatory standards, comply with corporate policy and procedures, manage supplies and equipment, promote teamwork with members of the health care team, promote internal and external customer satisfaction and facilitate resource management.

What qualifications you will need:


  • Certificate, or HCA Program Graduate
  • (CRCST) Certified Registered Central Service Technician, or (CSPDT) Cert Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician, or (CSIS) Certified Surgical Instrument Specialist
  • Minimum of one year of healthcare supervisory experience preferred.
