Payment Processor/Lockbox Remittance Processing Associate

North Brunswick, NJ
Contract to Hire | Onsite
Schedule: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Pay: $20-$23 per hour, based on experience
Join a High-Volume Financial Operations Team
Zing is seeking a detail-oriented Lockbox Remittance Processing Associate to support a fast-paced payment processing operation in North Brunswick, NJ.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured, production-driven environment and takes pride in accuracy, organization, and efficiency. If you're comfortable working with numbers and meeting daily processing goals, this is a strong opportunity to grow in financial operations.
What You'll Do
  • Process lockbox remittance payments with a high level of accuracy
  • Sort, open, organize, and scan incoming mail using high-speed OPEX scanners
  • Prepare and package processed remittances for client or bank delivery
  • Ensure accounts are processed according to client specifications
  • Maintain established production and accuracy standards
  • Cross-train across roles and departments to support business needs
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership
