Junior Accountant

Morris County, NJ

45-50K + bonus

Our client, a real estate firm located in Morris County New Jersey, has an immediate need for a Junior Accountant.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with monthly closing
  • Manage and analyze the daily finance and accounting      activity consisting of A/R & A/P
  • Various account reconciliations, maintenance and      analysis
  • Accrual analysis and processing
  • Assist with the preparation of A/P, A/R and GL analysis
  • Generation, reporting and analysis of      monthly/quarterly/annual financials
  • Conduct in accordance with GAAP Maintain and      development knowledge of accounting principles
  • Participate in special projects as assigned
  • Various assignments and project as assigned

Required Skills:

  • 1-3 years accounting experience in General      Accounting. 
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • Demonstrates a solid understanding of accounting      principals and general accounting
  • Must have very good verbal communications and      interpersonal skills
  • Must be Proficient in Microsoft Office (excel, word,      powerpoint).
  • Detail oriented with an emphasis on accuracy and      clarity

Able to meet deadlines and work under aggressive time constraints
