Motorcycles of Charlotte is looking to hire a part-time accounting associate 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounting Associate to manage a broad range of accounting responsibilities. This role requires someone who can effectively balance multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage sales accounting processes
  • Perform multiple account reconciliations
  • Oversee cash management activities
  • Post and process accounts payable transactions
  • Run and review timecards for payroll processing
  • Assist with physical inventory counts and inventory reconciliation
  • Prepare and support SOX review documentation and reporting

Given the variety of responsibilities, the ideal candidate must be able to identify priorities, manage time effectively, and consistently meet deadlines. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently are essential for success in this role. The successful candidate should also demonstrate sound judgment and a willingness to ask questions and seek clarification when needed to ensure accuracy and compliance.

What we are looking for:

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of two years of dealership experience preferred, including vehicle sales accounting (MSO processing, titling, and warranty registration)
  • Experience with CDK systems preferred
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles (college-level accounting coursework preferred)
  • Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new technology and systems
  • Must be available to work Tuesday through Saturday.
