Join our team as Senior Accountant!
The Senior Accountant is responsible for various Corporate financial reporting and account reconciliation and analysis.
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare journal entries, reconcile general ledger accounts, develop and prepare financial schedules and consolidated month-end financial statements and other financial reports.
  • Participate in and assist VP Finance with year end close and audit, account reconciliation, schedules and statements.
  • Prepare and submit state sales tax returns.
  • Review job close, job costing and inventory validation reports for accuracy and make corrections as needed.
  • Review and approve credit and rebill requests.
  • Maintain fixed asset schedules and update with additions and deletions on a timely basis.
  • Process payroll for all company locations, including submission, reporting, commission calculations, garnishments, and child support processing.
  • Assist with annual benefits and insurance renewals.
  • Provide guidance, backup and support, and direct the work load for corporate Billing Specialist and Credit/Collection Specialist.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field and three to five years of progressive accounting experience preferred. An equivalent combination of education and relevant accounting experience may be considered in lieu of a degree, based on the candidate's overall qualifications, knowledge, skills, and demonstrated ability to successfully perform the position.
  • Computer experience and proficiency with Accounting and Payroll systems, Microsoft products including Word, Excel, Outlook, TEAMs, and the ability to learn new software as needed.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality with sensitive and proprietary information and material.
  • Demonstrated ability of clear communication, attention to detail and ability to handle numerous projects, prioritize workload, work with minimum supervision with fast-paced expectations and accountabilities.
