Job Description Our Regina client is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join their team. We are seeking an expert Senior Business Analyst to drive high-impact, complex business and technology initiatives within our enterprise environment. This is a high-visibility role for a strategic thinker who excels at bridging the gap between complex technical capabilities and core business objectives.

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will collaborate deeply with senior leadership, cross-functional stakeholders, and technical delivery teams. You will not just document requirements, but actively shape solutions, optimize enterprise workflows, and champion business transformation from inception through to successful adoption. Key Responsibilities Strategic Requirements & Architecture Lead Elicitation: Facilitate high-level requirements gathering workshops with executive stakeholders and technical subject matter experts to capture business, functional, and technical specifications.

Artifact Creation: Author comprehensive, institutional-grade business cases, functional specifications, epic/user stories, and acceptance criteria tailored for both Agile and hybrid delivery models. Enterprise Alignment: Conduct thorough impact assessments for systemic and organizational changes, ensuring alignment with broader corporate strategies. Process Engineering & Optimization Business Re-Engineering: Analyze complex, current-state (As-Is) business processes and architect optimized future-state (To-Be) workflows to drive operational efficiency.

Data-Driven Analysis: Utilize process mapping and value-stream mapping tools to identify bottlenecks, redundancies, and automation opportunities. Collaboration & Delivery Support Strategic Liaison: Act as the primary conduit and trusted advisor between business units, internal engineering teams, and third-party vendors. Quality Assurance & Testing: Partner with QA teams to oversee user acceptance testing (UAT) strategies, ensuring the delivered solutions meet precise business requirements.

Change Management: Support organizational change management (OCM) efforts, training development, and end-user adoption strategies to maximize project ROI. Leadership & Mentorship Team Guidance: Provide formal and informal mentorship to junior and intermediate business analysts, establishing and promoting BA best practices across the organization. Qualifications Education & Experience Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

Tenure: 10+ years of progressive experience operating as a Business Analyst within a large, matrixed enterprise environment. Domain Expertise: 5+ years of dedicated experience specializing in complex process analysis, process re-engineering, and advanced requirements documentation. Agile Fluency: Proven experience working inside mature Agile/Scrum/SAFe delivery frameworks.

Core Competencies & Skills Consultative Approach: Exceptional stakeholder management, negotiation, and consulting skills with a proven ability to influence senior leadership. Translation & Clarity: Elite critical thinking skills with a demonstrated ability to translate highly complex technical architecture into clear, business-friendly narratives. Collaboration: A proven track record of successfully guiding cross-functional teams through ambiguous, large-scale initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications Professional Certification: Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or PMI-Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA) designation. Framework Knowledge: Deep, practical familiarity with the BABOK Guide (Business Analysis Body of Knowledge) frameworks. Methodology: Certification in Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Safe POPM) or Lean Six Sigma.
