The Director of Business Process & Systems supports the design, optimization, and enablement of end‑to‑end business processes through technology platforms, with a primary focus on ERP and CRM systems. This role bridges operations and systems, helping ensure business processes are standardized, scalable, and effectively supported by core enterprise platforms.
The position is hands-on across both process analysis and system enablement, including current-state process mapping, requirements gathering and documentation, system configuration alignment, implementation support, and performance reporting. This role works cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, IT, and Commercial teams to support digital transformation, system adoption, and operational efficiency.
About the role
  • Process Analysis, Documentation & Requirements Definition
  • Conduct current-state process mapping across core business functions (e.g., order to cash, procure to pay, service delivery).
  • Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, risks, and control gaps in existing workflows.
  • Support the design of future-state processes that improve efficiency, scalability, compliance, and customer experience.
  • Develop and maintain standardized process documentation, SOPs, and process maps.
  • Support implementation of redesigned processes across the organization.
  • Translate process designs into clear, structured business and system requirements for
  • ERP / CRM platforms, including user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
  • Operational Performance & Data Insights
  • Support definition of KPIs and performance metrics aligned to process outcomes (e.g., cycle time, cost, error rates).
  • Analyze operational data to identify improvement opportunities and root causes.
  • Execute continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and service quality.
  • Partner with operations teams to monitor process performance and adoption.
  • Build and maintain reporting, dashboards, and data visibility for decision-making.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance across systems.

Process Governance & Enablement
  • Maintain enterprise process architecture and taxonomy documentation.
  • Support governance frameworks for process ownership and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with IT to enable automation, workflow tools, and system integration where appropriate.
  • Ensure processes align with compliance, regulatory, and financial control requirements.
  • Support ERP / CRM implementations, upgrades, and enhancements, including testing (UAT), data validation, and end-user training materials.
  • Cross-Functional Transformation & Integration Work with business leaders to align systems and processes with strategic priorities and growth initiatives. Support M&A integrations by aligning acquired businesses to core ERP / CRM platforms and standardized processes. Facilitate workshops and training sessions to support process and system adoption across teams. Coordinate with stakeholders across Operations, Finance, IT, and Commercial functions. As Needed

What we need from you
Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
3-5 years of experience in business analysis, process improvement, systems implementation or transformation roles • Hands-on experience supporting process design or re-engineering initiatives, including process mapping and documentation • Direct experience with ERP and CRM platforms • Experience supporting ERP / CRM implementations, upgrades or integrations • Demonstrated ability to gather, document, and validate business and system requirements • Experience working with process mapping tools • Experience with PE-backed companies preferred but not required
Licenses/Certifications Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred but not required ERP / CRM system certifications preferred but not required (e.g. Salesforce Business
