Job Description

REPAIR PROCESS ENGINEER 

BS Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology (Electrical, Mechanical preferred) 2-4 years' experience in engineering discipline (manufacturing preferred) 

Responsibilities: 

Identify sub-assemblies to be repaired - Data analysis to identify opportunity - Root cause / failure mode identification - Feasibility of repair process: cost / benefit analysis - Heavy interaction with R&D and Field Service 

Develop repair process with internal resources and/or external suppliers 

Develop work instructions & execute the Change process - Develop Change Plan, Engineering Change Orders, system setup, BOM work instructions & process validation 

Create requalification / subassembly test process 

Launch of repaired parts - Reverse logistics established - Communications to field and suppliers 

Work with Regional Field Service to establish reverse logistics process 

Create repair processes for new equipment in the R&D pipeline 

Consolidate warranty recovery with external manufacturers 

Collaborate with Field Service, Manufacturing & Spare Part Supply Chain
