  • Implementsafety management strategies to ensure compliance with OSHA PSM regulations,EPA RMP, and best practices in the industry.
  • Evaluate new projects from asafety perspective, identifying appropriate risk studies, methodologies, andprovide inputs to associated costs, and schedules during proposal development.
  • Participate in risk review and safe layout review meetings, supporting processsafety and environmental requirements.
  • Coordinate Facility Siting Studies (FSS)and Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA) as required by product definition.
  • Conductprocess safety reviews using techniques such as Hazards and Operability Study(HAZOP), What-If, and Layers of Protection Analysis (LOPA).
  • Collaborate withproject teams on the implementation of safety design systems ensuringcompliance with internal standards, regulations and permit requirements.
  • Reviewand approve project safety documentation.

TRAVEL REQT: 25% of domestic and international travel required.

What makes you great (REQTS)
  • Musthave a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Chemical Engineering,Environmental Engineering, Safety Engineering, or a related field and seven (7)years of experience in the job offered or in a related position.
  • Must haveseven (7) years of experience with: Evaluating and designing process safetysolutions and safeguards to ensure safe operation, compliance with regulationswithin the industrial gases, chemical, or petrochemical industries;
  • Implementing Process Safety Design in projects including hydrogen, airseparation and liquefaction;
  • Conducting thorough reviews and due diligence fordifferent safety, health, environment, and quality (SHEQ) projects;
  • Performinga technical review and evaluation of contractual terms (with respect to processsafety and safe plant's design) for compliance with applicable codes andstandards;
  • Managing the process of obtaining Environmental Licensing;
  • ConductingProcess Hazard Analysis (PHA) and reviews to identify potential hazards andrequired safeguards;
  • Conducting incident investigations and facilitating RootCause Analyses;
  • Implementing process safety management requirements, based onOSHA's PSM regulation.
