Job description

Location: Hybrid - Thousand Oaks, CA
Employment Type: Contingent Worker (Contract, W2)
Contract Length: 12 months (possible extension)

Summary of the Role
Join a global program management team at a large biotech pharmaceutical leader, supporting medical device and combination product development from early stages through commercialization. You will help drive project execution, coordinate cross-functional efforts, and support process improvements in a regulated environment. This role enables you to make a tangible impact on global projects while working both onsite and remotely.
Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate cross-functional coordination for medical device and combination product development programs
  • Develop and maintain integrated project plans, timelines, milestone trackers, and action logs
  • Partner with engineering, quality, regulatory, clinical, manufacturing, supply chain, and additional teams to ensure aligned execution
  • Organize and support core team meetings and program reviews, including agenda preparation, decision documentation, and follow-up
  • Track project status against timelines and milestones; escalate risks, delays, or issues
  • Create and update project dashboards, status reports, presentations, and milestone review materials
  • Maintain program documentation to ensure readiness for design reviews, phase gates, and launch activities
  • Assist with risk, issue, assumption, and change tracking to maintain program visibility
  • Support coordination with external suppliers and partners as applicable
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives for project management practices and team routines

Required Experience & Skills
  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • Experience in project management roles within large, matrixed organizations
