Job description

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our estimating team as an Estimator and Project Manager Assistant. This role is focused on making outbound calls to subcontractors throughout the day to gather interest, availability, and project-specific information, followed by accurate data entry into our internal spreadsheets and systems, and entering Purchase Orders and Change Orders. Experience with AutoCAD is a plus!
Key Responsibilities

  • Make high-volume outbound calls to subcontractors and suppliers to request bids, confirm scope, check availability, and follow up on outstanding quotes
  • Clearly communicate project details and bid requirements over the phone
  • Accurately document all call outcomes, pricing information, subcontractor responses, and notes in Google spreadsheets and company databases
  • Maintain organized records of subcontractor contacts, bid statuses, and communication history
  • Assist with basic follow-up emails when needed
  • Entering Purchase Orders and Change Orders
  • Assisting with plans using AutoCAD
Qualifications

  • Strong verbal communication skills and clear, professional phone presence
  • Comfortable making repetitive outbound calls throughout the workday
  • Excellent attention to detail and data entry accuracy
  • Proficient in Google Sheet (sorting, filtering, basic formulas)
  • Ability to work independently and stay focused in a structured, task-oriented environment
