We're looking for an organized and collaborative Project Manager to help drive the successful delivery of our software products from concept to launch. In this role, you'll partner with cross-functional teams including Product, Development, QA, UI/UX, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to coordinate multiple concurrent projects, keep priorities on track, and ensure key milestones are met in a fast-paced software environment. You'll play an important role in bringing teams together, solving project challenges, and helping deliver innovative software solutions to our customers.

Primary Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for independently managing multiple, simultaneous projects working directly with and coordinating with Procede teams (Product, UI/UX, Development, QA, Deployment, Education, Sales, Marketing, etc.) with little to no supervision from management
• Manage all phases of the product release process for projects including responsibilities such as: 
• Coordinating/leading meetings 
• Delegating and overseeing deliverables assigned to resources 
• Setting and adjusting expectations to ensure project and process continuity and timely delivery of projects 
• Identifying potential issues, risks, and conflicts and devise contingency plans to address, resolve and/or escalate in a timely fashion  
• Updating project details in project management tools 
• Collaborate with project management team to continually review and establish best practices using the latest tools and techniques 
• Keep informed and current on organization product offerings, integrations, and related components
• Responsible for communicating build updates and coordinating support requests as needed 
• Facilitate internal communication and effective collaboration 
• Work with product owners to handle backlogs and new requests 
• Help teams implement changes effectively 
•  Support company's continuous improvement initiatives by recommending process improvements, innovative technology and tools, and documentation updates (KBs, customer-facing guides, etc.) 

Desired Qualifications/Skills

• Knowledge of project management principles, practices, and tools related to product/software development 
• Knowledge and experience with SCRUM/JIRA principles  
• Skilled at managing multiple deadlines, keeping projects on task, and tactfully communicating scheduling changes, disruptions, and resetting expectations  
• Advanced expertise to understand and communicate technical and functional business operations requests to both technical and non-technical users/clients  
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and to make critical decisions based on sound judgment but have an understanding to know when to escalate   
• Ability to effectively collaborate with internal teams and clients  
• Possess excellent organizational, time management, and follow through skills 

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent work experience may be considered
• 3-5 years of project management experience  
• 2+ years of scrum/Jira experience 
• 2+ years of experience in software or technical services industry in related role  
• Experience with Cloud platforms is a plus  
• PMP certification a plus   

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit at a desk, computer terminal or meeting table for a long period of time
• Ability to use hands and fingers or adaptive equipment to safely operate assigned equipment
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs
• Ability to use telephone frequently for a long period of time, and to hear and speak clearly by telephone

Location and Compensation

This is a hybrid-remote role; candidates based in San Diego county are expected to work a minimum of one day per week in the office, those residing outside of San Diego county will be considered fully remote. The salary range for this role is $98,000 - $132,000 per year, depending on a combination of factors, including, but not limited to, education, relevant work experience, qualifications, skills, certifications, location, etc.
