Strong knowledge of manufacturing methods and tools like CAD software is essential for this role.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Process Planner, and why are they important?

To excel as a Process Planner, you need strong analytical skills, knowledge of manufacturing processes, and typically a degree in engineering or industrial management. Familiarity with ERP systems, CAD software, and process mapping tools is commonly required, along with certifications such as Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing.
