Technical Process & Quality Analyst
Location: Whitsett, NC
Schedule: Full-Time

Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Technical Process & Quality Analyst to support manufacturing operations through process optimization, quality improvement, and new product introduction (NPI) activities.
The ideal candidate will have experience analyzing manufacturing processes, conducting quality audits, managing engineering documentation, and collaborating across engineering and production teams to ensure efficient, high-quality manufacturing outcomes.

Job Responsibilities
Lead and support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, managing the transition from product development to full-scale manufacturing.
Serve as a liaison between Engineering, Quality, and Operations teams.
Analyze and optimize manufacturing processes using industrial engineering techniques and process improvement methodologies.
Conduct process audits and quality audits to ensure compliance with manufacturing standards and procedures.
Perform visual and physical product inspections to identify defects, quality concerns, or process deviations.
Conduct time and motion studies to evaluate labor utilization, improve line balance, and enhance production efficiency.
Develop, maintain, and update manufacturing documentation using AutoCAD, including:
o Line of Balance (LOB)
o Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
o Shop Floor Control (SFC) documentation
o Training materials
o Production layouts
Manage Bill of Materials (BOMs) and Engineering Change (EC) documentation within ERP systems, often utilizing SAP.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
Investigate production issues and develop corrective action plans using structured problem-solving techniques.
Perform root cause analysis using quality tools such as Fishbone (Ishikawa), FMEA, PDCA, and 8D methodologies.
Monitor process performance metrics and recommend improvements that support safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.

Experience

Skills & Qualifications
Education: Bachelors or associate degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience: 2 to 3 years relevant experience.
Skills: Knowledge of quality tools like PDCA, FMEA, and 8D ; advanced knowledge/certification in Lean Six Sigma (Yellow or Greenbelt) ; advanced knowledge of the Office package ; and strong attention to detail.
