Job description

Job Summary

Sorenson is seeking a Senior Manager of Revenue Operations to lead operational execution and process optimization across the Enterprise organization. This role is responsible for driving scalable sales processes, forecasting operations, pipeline governance, CRM optimization, performance analytics, and operational reporting that support revenue growth across New Business, Expansion, and Renewal motions.

The Senior Manager will partner closely with Sales Leadership, Finance, Marketing, Customer Success, and Operations teams to improve forecasting accuracy, operational efficiency, sales productivity, and executive visibility into business performance. This role will lead Revenue Operations personnel and serve as a key operational partner in supporting strategic planning, sales execution, and business scalability.

The ideal candidate is highly analytical, systems-oriented, process-driven, and capable of balancing strategic operational leadership with hands-on execution in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. This individual should be comfortable operating cross-functionally, managing operational priorities, and delivering executive-ready insights that drive data-informed decision making.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the Revenue Operations function supporting the Enterprise organization.
  • Manage Revenue Operations personnel, including prioritization, coaching, performance management, and professional development.
  • Develop, optimize, and maintain scalable sales processes and workflows within Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365).
  • Lead operational forecast governance processes, pipeline inspection cadence, and forecasting support activities.
  • Develop and maintain executive-ready dashboards, KPI reporting, and operational performance metrics.
  • Support annual planning processes including territory planning, quota allocation support, headcount planning, and productivity analysis.
  • Partner with Sales Leadership to improve pipeline quality, forecast accuracy, sales process adherence, and operational rigor.
  • Identify and implement operational efficiencies, workflow automation opportunities, and scalable process improvements across the revenue organization.
  • Own CRM data governance and support reporting accuracy, process compliance, and data integrity initiatives.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Finance on bookings, revenue reconciliation, compensation administration support, and performance reporting.
  • Support compensation plan administration, attainment reporting, and operational execution of incentive programs.
  • Develop scalable reporting and analytics to support executive leadership, board reporting, and strategic decision-making.
  • Administer and optimize core Revenue Operations systems including Microsoft Dynamics 365, Jira, Confluence, and related operational platforms.
  • Other duties as assigned.

This position manages employees and is responsible for the performance management and hiring of the employees.

Education

Minimum:

  • 4 Year/Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university in Business, Business Administration, Marketing, Operations, or another related field

Preferred:

  • Experience supporting Enterprise B2B sales organizations

Preferred:

  • CRM, Analytics, or other project management certifications

Experience

Minimum Years of Experience:

  • 7 years’ experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, Business Operations, FP&A, or related operational leadership roles supporting Enterprise B2B organizations
  • 3 years’ experience leading people, operational initiatives, or cross-functional workstreams in fast-paced or high-growth environments

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong understanding of Revenue Operations, sales process management, forecasting operations, and pipeline governance.
  • Experience supporting Enterprise B2B sales organizations and multi-motion revenue models including New Business, Expansion, and Renewals.
  • Advanced experience with CRM systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
  • Experience developing executive dashboards, KPI reporting, operational analytics, and board-level reporting materials.
  • Experience supporting compensation administration, quota management, territory planning, and productivity analysis.
  • Strong project management and cross-functional leadership skills.
  • Ability to identify process inefficiencies and implement scalable operational improvements.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office experience including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar reporting and visualization tools preferred.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, and project/work management platforms preferred.
  • Intellectual curiosity, ownership mindset, and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with tactical execution.
  • Self-driven with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to operate effectively in a dispersed and cross-functional team environment.
  • Experience in SaaS, services, or high-growth operational environments preferred.
  • Trustworthy with proprietary company information, keeping such information in strict confidence.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

  • This role may be required to travel and attend face-to-face meetings and Sorenson sponsored events.
  • Primarily work from office or home office.
  • Must be able to sit for extending periods of time while working on a computer.
