Are you currently enrolled (or planning to enroll) in an Associates or Bachelor's Degree program in Marketing, Data Analytics, or Communications? Come to the Foundation to get hands-on learning experiences while you complete your coursework, in an environment that will be flexible around your class schedule!
Under the direction of the Associate Director, Marketing Operations, our Lead Generation Intern will support the expansion and maintenance of the company's databases across U.S. and Canadian markets. This internship provides hands-on experience in prospect research and lead generation using ZoomInfo, LinkedIn and organic search, with a focus on delivering actionable quality contacts for our marketing campaigns.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Pull and upload monthly marketing leads from ZoomInfo into the CRM, ensuring accurate and timely data entry.
  • Assist with maintaining data quality through lead audits, cleanup, and database management activities.
  • Under the direction of the manager, identify and develop high-quality prospect pipelines across defined target audiences to strengthen marketing campaign performance.
  • Partner with marketing to support program-specific lead generation initiatives.
  • Help set up and maintain website-driven lead capture workflows to ensure seamless data collection.

Requirements
Required Education/ Experience:
  • Currently enrolled in, or a recent graduate of an Associates or Bachelors degree program, majoring in Marketing, Data Analytics, Communications, or similar field. We prefer students outside of their freshman year of college, but will consider candidates based on their individual knowledge, skills and experience.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Excel and data sets, including basic functions such as sorting, filtering, and organizing; pivot table experience is strongly preferred.
  • Coursework or academic experience involving data analysis or marketing is strongly preferred.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Ability to follow structured processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Basic analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • General technical aptitude and an eagerness to learn new systems and platforms quickly.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Work Environment:
This position is expected to work 100% onsite from our corporate headquarters office in Brookfield, WI. This is an office environment with typical office conditions, including lighting, noise, seating and equipment.
