We are looking for a Process Engineer who will help lead the execution of Quality and Process Improvement projects and activities using standard PI tools such as Qualpro, MVT/DOE, Kepner Tregoe PSDM. Use a Hierarchy of values (Safety, Quality, Service, Cost) in prioritizing, using plans and executing capital improvements resulting from these projects. To support our founding team in Newton, we are offering a $10,000 sign-on bonus for this position.
Essential Duties

  • Lead process design reviews, raw material qualification and product and process qualification and capability studies.

  • Performs PPA/FMEA on all major process and raw material changes.

  • Train production personnel on Statistical process Control (SPC).

  • Leads the application and interpretation of SPC charting Train and educates personnel on company products, plant and corporate quality policies and procedures; including internal and external personnel, suppliers and customers.

  • Conduct internal compliance audits of production tests, process specifications, plant change notices (PCN's) and other in-plant processes.

  • Coordinate Plant Trials with R&D and plant personnel.

  • Ensures trials are accurately conducted and reported.


Qualifications Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering

  • 5+ years process engineering experience

  • Must have the ability to lead a team

  • Works well in difficult and time pressure situations

  • Demonstrated knowledge of engineering fundamentals and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, PLC and AutoCAD.

Base salary and/or rate of pay ranges listed are exclusive of fringe benefits and potential bonuses.
