The Senior Manager, Business Process Management is a hands-on leader accountable for the end-to-end design, governance, automation, and performance of priority enterprise business processes. This role partners cross-functionally to redesign, optimize, and automate processes so they are scalable and fully enabling of future growth - spanning Operations, Commercial, Finance, P&C, IT, Legal, and EA. The Senior Manager personally drives the most complex workstreams (process architecture, AI/automation strategy, dashboards, stage-gating) while coaching analysts and orchestrating SMEs, IT, and product teams. The ideal candidate brings an agile mindset, deep experience across various consumer and industrial domains, and the ability to deliver real-time information and bring structure to a dynamic, fast-moving environment.
Your 'day to day':
Governance, Architecture & Process Ownership
  • Establish and maintain the enterprise BPM governance framework, including standards, roles, and decision rights for end-to-end processes, ensuring clear accountability and process ownership across functions.
  • Act as a hands-on Business Process Architect - designing and defining the overall process landscape and architecture, ensuring processes are well-structured, integrated, and aligned with the business strategy; bring a deep understanding of how end-to-end business operations and two different processes interact.
  • Work cross-functionally to own and deliver end-to-end business processes (Process Owner accountability), bridging functional silos and ensuring measurable outcomes.
  • Drive stage-gating across the organization for new initiatives, process changes, and AI/automation use cases.

Roadmap, Demand Management & Ways of Working
  • Own the BPM roadmap and demand management process - capturing intake, prioritizing, aligning projects, and managing resource tracking; formalize product roadmaps and improve application support management (ASM).
  • Define and enforce common Ways of Working (WoW) and templates, including optimized UI/UX standards for dashboards and standardized operating procedures.
  • Align various initiatives and create the roadmap that connects process, technology, and people work streams.

AI, Automation & Real-Time Insights
  • Shape and execute the AI and automation strategy for core business processes - including RPA, workflow automation, low-code platforms, simulations, and agentic AI opportunities - partnering with IT and the AI governance teams.
  • Identify, scope, and oversee delivery of AI-powered process improvements (analyze processes, architect AI solutions, integrate models, monitor and optimize) ensuring solutions are scalable, future-proof, and responsibly governed.
  • Build critical dashboards and scorecards with real-time visibility into process KPIs; create triggers and alerts for data that is outside the norm (e.g., variance from prior baselines).

Stakeholder Communication & Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Provide regular updates to senior leadership and key stakeholders on project status, risks, and outcomes; present complex ideas clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Collaborate daily, weekly, and quarterly with Finance, S&PD, IT, Commercial, Operations, ID&A, Legal, and Communications to drive end-to-end process outcomes.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and consultant to business owners - develop new methodologies, provide independent assessments, and ensure adoption of standardized processes and digital tools across business units.

Who we're looking for:
  • 8-12+ years of progressive experience in Business Process Management, business process re-engineering, transformation, or operational excellence within complex, multi-functional organizations.
  • Proven ability to lead end-to-end process design and transformation across supply chain, demand planning, route-to-market, commercial execution, finance, and support functions.
  • Experience designing and operationalizing enterprise BPM governance frameworks, including process taxonomies (L1-L5), KPIs, and decision rights.
  • Hands-on experience with process design and modeling tools such as Signavio, Visio, or Bizagi, with strong BPMN fluency.
  • Demonstrated success delivering AI and automation use cases, including RPA, low-code/workflow automation, and AI-augmented process design; ability to translate business problems into automation/AI architectures and govern through stage gates.
  • Strong systems integration understanding across ERP, CRM, planning, and data platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, Power BI/Snowflake-class platforms).
  • Excellent stakeholder management, influence, and change leadership in matrixed organizations; able to constructively challenge senior leaders.
  • Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills with a bias to action; ability to bring structure to ambiguity and a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Executive-ready communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or Master's in, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
  • Experience across multiple consumer and industrial domains (e.g., CPG, retail, healthcare, pharma, tech, automotive, defense) brings breadth of best practices and an agile mindset.
  • Familiarity with AI governance frameworks (intake, risk review, stage-gated approvals, scaling) and responsible AI principles.
  • Exposure to process mining and intelligence platforms (e.g., SAP Signavio Process Insights/Intelligence).
  • Prior experience managing/coaching analysts and building a high-performing BPM practice.

Annual Base Salary Range: $160,000 - $200,000
