  • Working knowledge of or training to APQP-PPAP requirements (e.g., AS9145, IATF 16949, AESQ-RM13145)
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in quality or business systems management, or process development
  • Strong understanding of quality and/or business management systems, including how processes integrate and interact across an organization
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and drive effective solutions
  • Proven ability to build relationships and collaborate across functions and at multiple levels of the organization
  • Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to create clear, effective written materials
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently, manage workload, and meet deadlines
  • Highly organized, with demonstrated ability to balance day-to-day responsibilities alongside long-term projects
  • Position requires 5-10% travel
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance.

As a Business Systems Quality Manager, you will:
  • APQP Sustainment and Improvement: Serve as APQP process SME, trainer, administrator, and integrator. Maintain and influence APQP processes, collaborate with the APQP Community of Practice, administer Lessons Learned, and drive process implementation initiatives.
  • APQP Maturity Assessments: Plan and execute APQP process maturity assessments; identify gaps and opportunities and recommend improvement actions.
  • Business Systems Maturity Administration: Perform Business Systems maturity assessments for key division processes, monitor assessment performance at site level, identify strengths and opportunities, and deliver findings to stakeholders.
  • Process Improvement Projects: Lead and execute projects to improve business systems processes; develop measurable plans and track results.
  • Document Control Maintenance: Monitor and manage SDG document control process health and execution at a tactical level.
  • Compliance Support: Support sustainment of enterprise customer quality requirements and ensure process adherence.
  • Training & Change Enablement: Develop and deliver process training and materials across organizational levels; support change adoption.
  • Cross-functional Leadership & Influence: Lead or participate in cross-functional teams, influence stakeholders, and coordinate implementation where requirements are sometimes ambiguous.
