Job description

We are seeking Post Process Technicians who will ensure products are packaged on time and assist in the trim, bucking, and grinding processes. You will follow all applicable SOPs and abide by all policies and PPE requirements. You will help out in all areas of the post process and cross-train in all applicable areas. This person should possess a positive attitude and work well within a team environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately weigh, count, seal, package, and label ready-to-use cannabis products. This includes but is not limited to bulk flower, pre-rolls, cartridges, concentrates, and other marijuana-infused products.
  • Preparing all boxes and products for orders. Making sure all needed labels are on the proper boxes and products.
  • Ensure all labeling is properly done to adhere to compliance requirements.
  • Maintain the highest levels of cleanliness and sterility inside the processing area.
  • Promotes a work environment that is positive, customer-service oriented, and compliant with established laws and regulations and Company policies and procedures.
  • Reporting any issues to management to ensure a timely fix
  • Retain and understand department-specific training
  • Operating Trim machine and QA/QC of material coming from the machine
  • Bucking of cannabis material
  • Report safety incidents/ concerns and comply with follow-up actions
  • Be compliant with area safety requirements and PPE requirements
  • Follow GMP, biosecurity, sanitation, or other quality and compliance requirements
  • Perform record keeping accurately and completely as directed by a lead or supervisor
  • Maintain and calibrate tools, equipment, and machinery as directed by a lead or supervisor
  • Report and escalate safety & quality concerns
  • Basic computer literacy and being able to use Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as being able to type and send emails.
  • Ability to work independently throughout the day in accordance with instructions.
  • Must have a proactive attitude, and demonstrate consistent attention to detail.
  • Basic math skills are required.
  • Any other tasks as assigned by Post Process Manager or Leads

Requirements:

  • Must have excellent communication skills and be able to work with a diverse set of personalities and learning styles.
