Moog Space Division is looking for a Proposal Process Manager on-site in WNY. You will report to the Growth and Strategy Team and coordinates the end-to-end process of responding to customer Requests for Information (RFIs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs). You will be responsible for the generation of high-quality, compliant, winning proposals on time and with maximum efficiency. You will facilitate the functional, legal, and compliance aspects of contract acceptance and supports the entire Division's interests.

As a Proposal Process Manager, you will:

  • Manage the proposal lifecycle. From intake and kickoff through writing, reviews, production, submission, and post-submission debriefs.

  • Cross functional proposal execution team coordination (Business Development, Engineering, Contracts, Program Management, Cost and Pricing, Operations) that successfully generated winning proposals that fuel Moog growth.

  • Create and manage proposal response schedules, assign tasks, track milestones, and ultimately deliver proposals on time.

  • Coordinate Legal, Contract and Compliance reviews.

  • Track status and maintain proposal archives.

  • Promote customer intimacy and relationships that help us grow with our best customers.

  • Provide timely and accurate inputs into CRM, ensuring overall accuracy.

  • Maintain content and templates. Build and curate a proposal content library, standard templates, boilerplate language, and past-performance references.

  • Optimize process and tools. Implement or manage proposal automation, content management, version control, and submission tools.

  • Assist in overall Division CRM maintenance activities.

To be considered for the Proposal Process Manager role, here's what you'll typically need to bring with you:

  • Bachelor's Degree (BS) in an Engineering or Business field.

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in proposal process management or program management.

  • Experience using CRM tools to track opportunities, proposal process, and bookings forecasting.

  • Communication and collaboration skills for both internal and external customers.

  • Ability to manage through influence without direct line reporting in a fast-paced growth environment.

  • Experience in the space industry is a plus.

  • Ability to obtain a US DoD security clearance.

  • Ability to access US export-controlled information (ITAR).
