JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Manage intricate tasks associated with the analysis and assessment of existing systems, contributing to the identification of business, organizational, and operational requirements. Provide assistance in the design, development, and implementation of systems crucial for core business functions, processes, and programs. Offer support in researching and evaluating system needs, as well as identifying opportunities for technology improvement.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead the development and implementation of strategic systems plans, aligning IT initiatives with the long-term goals and objectives of ATC.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends, providing informed recommendations to senior management for technology adoption, system enhancements, or upgrades.
  • Foster collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless integration of business systems with various departments and functions within the organization.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to optimize existing business processes, enhance system functionalities, and streamline operations for increased efficiency.
  • Collaborates with various organizational levels to uphold a comprehensive corporate management information system crucial for informed policy decision-making.
  • Conduct thorough feasibility studies, develop business cases, and compile detailed project proposal reports, presenting final findings to department management.
  • Compile user manuals and related documentation as an outcome of Business System implementations.
  • Engage with IT during the design and implementation stages of IT-based business systems, offering valuable support as the department's client.
  • Provide essential support, advice, and procedural guidelines to ensure the data integrity originating from departmental business organizations is maintained.
  • Deliver training to operational and staff personnel, optimizing the efficiency of Business Systems within the assigned department.
  • Prepare comprehensive conversion and user installation plans tailored for the applicable organization.
  • Cultivate ongoing communication with the IT Liaison representative in other departments, fostering the exchange of ideas and information.
  • Undertake other miscellaneous duties and actively participate in projects as directed by the Manager.
COMMUNICATION Internal Communication
  • Engage in communication with business system users and team leads to analyze and comprehend system issues, fostering knowledge and awareness of current business processes and upcoming changes. Provide insights on system behavior concerning input and expected output.
  • Collaborate with IT systems analysts to communicate system change requirements, validate developed modules, and address system bug fixes. Regularly report the status of pending activities within the IT department to stakeholders and ensure timely follow-up.
External Communication
  • Establish communication channels with process consultants, application vendors, and Saudi Aramco. Offer an IT perspective and communicate implementation expectations regarding current business processes and the overall direction of the company.
  • Facilitate effective external communication to ensure alignment with industry standards and best practices.
JOB REQUIREMENTS Education & Skills (Required, Preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business and Management, Management Information Systems, Computer & Information Systems, Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
  • Ability to lead and guide a team, facilitating effective collaboration and communication within the organization.
  • Capacity to align business systems with the overall strategic goals and objectives of the organization, ensuring a cohesive and forward-looking approach.
  • Proficiency in identifying complex business problems, analyzing requirements, and developing innovative and effective solutions.
Preferred
  • An advanced degree is highly desirable.
Experience & Knowledge (Required, Preferred)
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in the relevant field.
  • Diversified experience in Business Systems Analysis or Systems Engineering.
  • Understanding of enterprise-wide structures, processes, information flows, and technology in order to design and align business systems with the overarching architecture.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance standards, ensuring that business systems adhere to legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Comprehensive understanding of data governance principles, including data quality, data management, and data security, to ensure the integrity and reliability of organizational data.
