Job description

Hover helps people design, improve, and protect the properties they love. With proprietary AI built on over a decade of real property data, Hover answers age-old questions like โ€œWhat will it look like?โ€ and โ€œWhat will it cost?โ€ Homeowners, contractors, and insurance professionals rely on Hover to get fully measured, accurate, and interactive 3D models of any property โ€” all from a smartphone scan in minutes.

At Hover, weโ€™re driven by curiosity, purpose, and a shared commitment to serving our customers, communities, and each other. We believe the best ideas come from diverse perspectives and are proud to cultivate an inclusive, high-performance culture that inspires growth, accountability, and excellence. Backed by leading investors like Google Ventures and Menlo Ventures, and trusted by industry leaders including Travelers, State Farm, and Nationwide โ€” weโ€™re redefining how people understand and interact with their spaces.

Why Hover wants you

Hover is looking for an Implementation Manager to guide our largest, most complex customers through a seamless launch. In this role, youโ€™ll serve as the driving force behind cross-functional executionโ€”partnering closely with Product, Sales, Sales Engineering, Customer Success, and key customer stakeholders to ensure every implementation is delivered on time, with high adoption and measurable impact.

Youโ€™ll take ownership of enterprise-level programs that shape how customers experience and derive value from Hoverโ€™s platform. Working within a highly collaborative environment, youโ€™ll connect strategy with execution, transforming operational complexity into seamless outcomes for our customers. Youโ€™ll have the opportunity to define and scale the implementation discipline, building frameworks, driving process excellence, and setting new standards for customer success. This role exists because Hover is scaling insurance account rollouts, and the current model places too much implementation ownership on Customer Success by default. Weโ€™re looking for someone who can bring structure, urgency, accountability to high-stakes rollouts while building the playbook for how this function scales over time.

You will contribute by
  • Lead end-to-end implementation execution for enterprise-level customers, ensuring alignment with customer goals and timelines (stakeholder mapping, milestone design, risk mitigation, resourcing)
  • Understand the Hover platform and product capabilities to effectively communicate the value to end users and senior management
  • Serve as the single point of accountability for launch deliverables and cross-functional execution
  • Facilitate technical and non-technical meetings with customers, internal teams, and third parties
  • Anticipate and manage risks, dependencies, and escalations; course-correct proactively
  • Drive internal alignment, status reporting, and resource planning across functions
  • Own launch success metrics (timeliness, user adoption, quality, retention handoff)
  • Document process templates, playbooks, and continuous improvement insights post-launch
  • Train and mentor junior implementation or onboarding team members (if applicable)
Your background includes
  • 3-7+ years in enterprise software implementation, onboarding, or professional services in SaaS
  • Proven track record managing complex, multi-stakeholder launches, strong project/program management fundamentals in enterprise environments
  • Led implementation of new workflows and successfully drove adoption across thousands of end-users
  • Excellent written and verbal communication across technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong project management skills โ€” planning, dependencies, risk mitigation
  • Comfortable working ambiguously, making decisions, and driving alignment
  • Experience with tools like Jira, Asana, or Smartsheet; and familiarity with APIs, integrations, or data pipelines

Nice-to-haves:

  • Insurance or insurtech experience
  • Familiarity with claims workflows or carrier tech stacks such as Xactimate or Cotality
  • Prior exposure with transactional commitment structures and associated adoption strategy/tactics and success metrics
Benefits
  • Compensation - Competitive salary and meaningful equity in a fast-growing company
  • Healthcare - Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage for you and dependents
  • Paid Time Off - Unlimited and flexible vacation policy
  • Paid Family Leave - We support work/life balance and offer generous paid parental and new child bonding leave
  • Mandatory Self-Care Days - A day set aside each month to allow employees to recharge
  • Remote Wellbeing Resources - We provide recurring fitness classes, meditation/ mindfulness tools, virtual therapy, and family planning assistance
  • Learning - We encourage continued education and will help cover the cost of management training, conferences, workshops, or certifications
