Job Description
As a Sr Plant Manager here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations and performance of our manufacturing plant. You will develop and implement strategies to optimize plant operations, improve productivity, and reduce costs.
You will report directly to our Sr Director ISC Operations and you'll work out of our Boyne City, MI location on a On-site work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the success of our business by leading and managing a team to meet production targets and deliver on customer commitments. You will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient production of high-quality products while maintaining a safe and productive work environment. Your leadership and strategic decision-making skills will be essential in driving operational excellence and achieving business objectives.
Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead and manage the plant operations to meet production targets and deliver on customer commitments.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize plant operations, improve productivity, and reduce costs.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety throughout the plant.
  • Lead and manage a site of approximately 140 employees across frontline and functional roles, ensuring effective coordination and leadership to achieve operational objectives.

Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in plant management or a similar leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and best practices.
  • Proven track record of driving operational excellence and achieving business objectives.
  • Excellent leadership skills with a focus on team development and engagement.
  • Experience with budget management and financial acumen to achieve financial goals.

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in plant management or a similar leadership role.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification.
  • Experience with implementing and managing continuous improvement initiatives.
