Job Summary
Lead and scale TDIndustries' Process Solutions presence in the Phoenix market by providing executive-level leadership across complex, high-value industrial and process-focused construction projects. This role is responsible not only for project delivery, but for establishing operational excellence, building a high-performing team, and serving as a strategic partner to clients in technically demanding environments.
Drive successful outcomes through disciplined planning, resource optimization, and strong field and project leadership development. Act as the market-facing leader-building client relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and positioning TDIndustries as a trusted partner in Process Solutions.
This role will set the standard for safety, quality, and execution in a new market, while shaping scalable processes, advancing innovation in delivery, and ensuring projects are executed on time, on budget, and aligned with long-term business objectives.
Essential Duties
Lead and Scale the Phoenix Process Solutions- Business Provide executive leadership across multiple complex, process-driven construction projects while helping establish TDIndustries' Process Solutions presence in the Phoenix market. Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing project and field leadership team aligned to long-term growth objectives.
Develop People and Build the Leadership Bench- Coach and develop Project Managers and support staff to elevate performance, technical capability, and leadership readiness. Drive meaningful performance conversations, succession planning, and talent development to support sustained growth.
Drive Project Excellence and Financial Performance Own project outcomes across safety, quality, schedule, and financial performance. Lead monthly financial reviews, identify risks and variances, and implement corrective actions using disciplined execution and continuous improvement methodologies, including Lean practices.
Champion Advanced Planning and Execution Discipline- Lead pre-construction and ongoing planning efforts, including pull planning, constraint management, scheduling, and value optimization. Ensure teams execute with clarity, accountability, and alignment from pre-job through project completion.
Shape Strategy and Operational Plans Contribute to and execute strategic and operational plans that align project delivery with broader business unit and enterprise growth objectives. Identify opportunities to improve scalability, efficiency, and market competitiveness.
Own Client Relationships and Drive Growth- Serve as a senior leader with clients, building trusted relationships and expanding TDIndustries' presence within key accounts. Partner with all TD offerings to drive repeat business and long-term partnerships through a lifecycle approach.
Lead Complex Contract Strategy and Risk Management- Provide oversight of contract review, negotiation, and execution. Identify and manage risk across commercial terms, project delivery, and stakeholder alignment, ensuring favorable outcomes for both TDIndustries and our clients.
Ensure Operational Excellence and Safety Leadership- Establish and reinforce a culture of safety, quality, and accountability across all projects. Ensure adherence to TDIndustries' construction processes and continuously raise the standard of execution.
Resolve Issues with Authority and Urgency- Lead resolution of complex project and stakeholder challenges involving clients, partners, vendors, and internal teams, ensuring momentum is maintained and relationships are strengthened.
Minimum Requirements
โ€ข Education & Credentials- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field required. PMP, PgMP, or relevant industry certifications preferred.
โ€ข Experience- 10+ years of progressive experience in construction leadership roles, including experience leading complex, large-scale projects or programs. Demonstrated experience in process-driven or industrial environments (e.g., advanced manufacturing, semiconductor, data center, life sciences, or similar technically complex projects) strongly preferred.
โ€ข Leadership & Team Development- Proven ability to lead, develop, and scale high-performing project teams, including mentoring Project Managers and building leadership bench strength.
โ€ข Business & Operational Acumen- Strong understanding of project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and margin performance. Demonstrated ability to translate business strategy into execution and drive operational results.
โ€ข Client & Market Leadership- Experience building and maintaining executive-level client relationships, with a track record of expanding accounts and driving repeat business.
โ€ข Execution & Delivery Excellence- Proven success delivering projects on schedule and within budget while maintaining high standards of safety and quality. Strong working knowledge of Lean principles, process optimization, and continuous improvement methodologies.
