Job Summary
F Shift: 6:00pm-6:00am (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday every other Saturday)
Job Summary:
The Lead Engineering Technician is responsible for supporting and improving manufacturing operations by combining expertise in process engineering and automation equipment. This role includes hands-on troubleshooting, maintenance, and optimization of production processes and automation equipment. In addition, the Lead Engineering Technician will manage and guide the Automation Technicians on their shift, ensuring alignment with operational goals and technical standards.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and analyze manufacturing equipment to identify opportunities for necessary interventions to correct yield and output.
  • Collaborate with Reliability and Engineering Teams on root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Troubleshoot and repair automation equipment including sensors, actuators, robotics, and mechanical systems.
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to ensure equipment reliability and uptime.
  • Supervise and support Automation Technicians during assigned shift.
  • Delegate tasks, provide technical guidance, and ensure timely completion of maintenance and troubleshooting activities.
  • Supervise shift handovers and communicate key updates to management and cross-functional teams.
  • Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Assist in training and development of new technicians.

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with robotics (e.g., FANUC, ABB) and vision systems.
  • Hands-on experience with pneumatic and electromechanical systems.
  • Ability to mentor junior technicians and lead cross-functional initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
