Job Title: Process Engineer

Job Type: Full-Time

Location: Taylor, TX

Job Description:

We are looking for an organized, innovative, and collaborative Process Engineer to join our team in Taylor, TX. The ideal candidate will design, revise, and

extend process systems for new construction and major renovations of industrial,

high-tech, and commercial structures. In this role, you will support complex projects in the semiconductor and advanced manufacturing industries, utilizing creative problem-solving within standard building codes and industry regulations.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Design Execution: Develop process flow diagrams (PFDs), piping and

instrumentation diagrams (PIDs), system layout plans, and equipment sizing

specifications.

  • Project Lifecycle Support: Execute process designs from initial conceptual

criteria through completed working drawings, construction documents, and field

commissioning.

  • Technical Engineering: Perform detailed piping designs, equipment selection,

and process system start-up documentation.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Interface heavily with multidisciplinary

engineering teams, project managers, system owners, vendors, and

contractors.

  • Construction Administration: Provide engineering support, site observations,

and technical issue resolution during the active construction phase.

  • Continuous Improvement: Define and implement standardized engineering

approaches, industry best practices, and continuous process improvements.

  • Business Support: Support proposal developments, technical consulting

pursuits, and client-facing presentations.

  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance, and design oversight to

engineering staff.

  • Advanced Problem Solving: Lead the implementation of innovative concepts

to solve complex, high-impact facility challenges.

  • Autonomy: Manage independent engineering assignments and serve as the

primary technical point of contact for complex systems.

Education & Licensure

  • Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Related Engineering

field from an ABET-accredited institution (Master’s degree preferred).

  • Licensure: Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly preferred (Required

for Senior level designation).

Required Experience

  • Experience Level: 3+ years

  • Industry Focus: Direct experience in Semiconductor FABs, display FABs, or battery manufacturing facilities.

  • Technical Mastery: Strong understanding of process systems control

philosophies, facility building codes, and safety standards.

  • Tools & Analysis: Experience authoring technical reports, designing

technical experiments, and running computer-based process simulations.

Skills Competencies

  • Software: Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and building energy

calculation software.

  • Languages: Excellent written and verbal English communication skills

(Required).

  • Languages: Ability to read and speak Korean (Preferred).

  • Credentials: Technical publication credits or industry-specific white papers

are a plus.
