Job description

Engineering Technician | Environmental Management

ProSidian seeks an Engineering Technician | Environmental Management to support professional services engagement for Environmental Management Sector Clients such as USACE. This is a Contract Contingent or Contract W-2 (IRS-1099) position and ProSidian reserves the right to convert to a Full-Time ProSidian employed W-2 Position.

Provide services and support as a Environmental Remediation Services (ERS) (Engineering Technician) in the Environmental Management Industry Sector focusing on Environmental Services Solutions for clients such as Department of Defense (DoD - USACE) | U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Northwestern Division, Omaha District (USACE NWO) Area of Responsibility (AOR) Generally Located In CONUS - Ten (10) States: Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wyoming and across the Mid West Region.

Responsibilities and duties include providing technical support in engineering projects; conducting tests; assisting in data collection and analysis. The Engineer(s) is responsible for assuring that all engineering support goals specified in the Task Order are attained.

Qualifications

Desired qualifications for Engineering Technician | Environmental Management include practical experience in engineering tasks; familiarity with technical equipment. The Engineer(s) should also have three (3) years' experience related to the investigation, design, and construction of geotechnical features, with a minimum of one (1) year of experience being related to remedial investigations, feasibility studies, and design and construction of geotechnical features in Environmental Remediation Services (ERS) Services Site sand/or process engineering at Environmental Remediation Services (ERS) Services Facilities or sites.

Education / Experience Requirements / Qualifications include 3+ years as an engineering technician; experience in environmental projects preferred. | Associate's in Engineering Technology. The Engineer shall have a college degree in engineering (soil mechanics, materials, or related specialty), geological engineering, or related field. The Engineer(s) should have demonstrable education and experience in geotechnical engineering.

Skills required include technical skills, data collection, equipment operation, problem-solving. | Professional Licensure: None required.

Competencies required include excellent oral and written communication skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, & Adobe)
