Job description

  • Provide leadership for process engineering across seven coil coating lines.
  • Oversee multiple production lines and drive measurable improvements in safety, quality, reliability, and overall performance.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of BCP coating line processes and apply that knowledge to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Work closely with the Director of Engineering and technical experts to benchmark best practices and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Spend significant time on plant floors driving real-time problem solving and supporting troubleshooting efforts.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related discipline)
  • Minimum of 10 years in a heavy manufacturing industrial environment within a plant or maintenance capacity
  • 3+ years people leading within engineering or technical teams
  • Direct experience in coil coating or paint line operations
  • Proven experience working in continuous processing environments (coating, metals, or similar high-speed lines)
  • Strong background in commissioning, troubleshooting, and production support.
  • Strong experience with Rockwell Automation platforms, including ControlLogix and CompactLogix PLCs, Studio 5000, PowerFlex AC/DC drives
