Job description

The Industrial Engineer is responsible for developing and maintaining wage incentive plans while optimizing labor and equipment utilization across the plant. This role partners closely with production, engineering, and management teams to drive efficiency, support production goals, and resolve labor-related challenges. The position also serves as a key liaison in union environments, including participation in grievance resolution and arbitration processes. Through data-driven analysis and continuous improvement initiatives, this role contributes to overall operational excellence.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering.

  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment with cross-functional engineering and maintenance teams.

  • Exposure to unionized environments and labor relations processes is preferred.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and technical skills, including knowledge of MOST, Six Sigma, and Lean manufacturing methodologies.

  • Master's degree preferred.
