Position Summary: Firmware Engineering Manager

Location: Nashua, NH

Amphenol High Speed Products Group is the market leader for high speed, high bandwidth electrical connectors for the Telecom/Datacom market (Mobile Networks, Storage, Servers, Routers, Switches, etc.). Our products help to enable the electronics revolution and remain a key enabler for all the major Tier 1 OEM's globally. Our global headquarters are located in Nashua, NH and we have design, sales and manufacturing locations globally. We are currently seeking a Firmware Engineering Manager for the High Speed Cables team located in Nashua, NH.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee and mentor the Firmware engineering team, providing needed training and working with team members to grow within the organization
  • Manage firmware project schedules, deliverables, and resource allocation across multiple concurrent programs
  • Provide technical mentorship, performance feedback, and career development support for engineering staff
  • Aid in product defect analysis, which may include updating our production tools to collect additional information and mining factory log files
  • Develop and enforce firmware architecture standards and coding best practices.
  • Drive continuous improvement in development processes, tools, and methodologies
  • Coordinate with peers and other engineering managers within the organization to share best practices
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelors degree in Firmware/Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or related discipline
  • 5+ years of experience in a technical leadership position within a related industry
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical projects and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to communicate with employees at all levels of the organization
