Stevens Industries is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support our Dealer Education team. This role is ideal for an organized, technically-minded professional who enjoys coordinating projects, solving problems, working with customers, and collaborating across multiple departments.
The Assistant Project Manager plays a key role in supporting project execution from order entry through project completion. This position works closely with customers, Project Managers, Engineering, Drafting, Production, Logistics, and Field Services to help ensure projects are completed accurately, efficiently, and on schedule.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their project management skills while gaining exposure to manufacturing, construction, technical drawings, production processes, and customer relationship management.
Responsibilities
  • Support Project Managers with day-to-day project execution activities.
  • Manage assigned accounts and smaller projects.
  • Process project reports, corrective actions, and replacement part requests.
  • Coordinate customer issues and follow projects through resolution.
  • Enter and maintain project information, finish schedules, and related documentation.
  • Assist with project tracking, scheduling, and status updates.
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Drafting, Production, Logistics, and Field Services.
  • Review drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
  • Support field-related issues and project closeout activities.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation within company systems.

Requirements
  • Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and process time-sensitive information in a fast-paced environment.
  • Working knowledge of project management principles, manufacturing processes, and customer support practices.
  • Ability to review and interpret project drawings, specifications, finish schedules, field reports, and production-related documentation.
