The Manager Supply Chain Planning will operate in full compliance with applicable hygiene, safety, quality, and regulatory standards, and in alignment with the organization's framework, company's procedures, and the defined scope of responsibility the role is accountable for.

The Manager, Supply Chain Planning, leads the site's end to end planning processes to ensure reliable supply of products in alignment with customer demand, quality standards, financial objectives, and Technical Operations priorities. The role oversees the production planning, material planning, and capacity planning activities for the Raleigh fill-finish facility, ensuring robust short -, mid -, and long-term planning cycles. This position partners cross functionally with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Procurement, Finance, and Global Supply Chain to drive service-level excellence, optimized inventory, and efficient execution. The Manager, Supply Chain Planning is accountable for implementing best in class planning processes consistent with leading pharmaceutical companies and operates with a mindset of customer centricity, cooperation, safety, quality, and focused execution.

YOUR ROLE

  • Leads the site Supply Chain Planning function, ensuring accurate and reliable production, capacity, and material plans that meet customer demand.
  • Oversees the development and maintenance of the Master Production Schedule (MPS) and ensures alignment with global supply plans.
  • Ensures production schedules support GMP requirements, equipment availability, labor capacity, and batch sequencing rules.
  • Drives robust material planning processes to maintain optimal inventory levels while preventing shortages and minimizing obsolescence.
  • Develops and executes long term capacity models and scenario analyses to support growth, new product introduction, and strategic decision making.
  • Establishes and improves planning KPIs, including schedule adherence, forecast accuracy, capacity utilization, and inventory performance.
  • Leads S&OP/IBP site processes and represents the site in global planning forums.
  • Partners closely with Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering to ensure synchronized execution of plans and rapid escalation of risks.
  • Collaborates with Materials Management and Procurement to ensure supply continuity of raw materials, components, and packaging.
  • Identifies, leads, and implements digital planning enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives aligned with industry best practices.
  • Ensures planning activities comply with all applicable cGMP, safety, and regulatory requirements.

YOUR BACKGROUND

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Operations, or related field.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in supply chain planning within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or other regulated manufacturing industry.
  • 3+ years of experience leading teams.
  • Strong understanding of cGMP manufacturing, MRP/ERP systems, and production scheduling principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret demand, supply, and capacity data to make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in advanced planning tools and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and conflict resolution skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • APICS/ASCM CPIM, CSCP, or equivalent certification.
  • Experience with SAP or equivalent Tier 1 ERP system.
  • Experience in sterile fill finish or pharmaceutical production environments.
  • Experience leading S&OP/SIOP processes.
