Job description

We have an outstanding Contract position for a Process Engineer to join a leading Company located in the Orlando, FL surrounding area.

**US Citizenship is required.**

Job Responsibilities: ย 
  • Designs and plans layout for warehouse automation and general warehousing best practices.
  • Plans sequence of operations and specifies procedures for receiving, decanting, packing, and otherwise preparing basic material, exercising judgment in compromising between conflicting requirements, economic evaluation of methods, and operator effectiveness and comfort with an emphasis on automated solutions.
  • Conducts tests and measurements throughout stages of production to determine control over such variables as material movement times/efficiency, automation utilization, and payback.
  • Establishes and submits processing requirements to be met in designing and acquiring automated warehouse processing equipment.

Basic Hiring Criteria:ย ย 
  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, engineeringย orย business.
  • No less than 5 years' experience using SAP Warehouse Management Software.
  • 8 years' experience in automated end-of-line and logistical solutions.
  • 8 years' experience in warehouse operations.
  • 8 years' experience managing large-scale automation projects.

Desired Qualifications:ย 
  • Experience with automation vendors like Dematic, Honeywell Intelligrated, KNAPP, SSI Schaefer.
