Process Engineer:
On behalf of our Manufacturing client, Procom is searching for a Process Engineer for a permanent role. This position is onsite at our client's Waukesha, WI office.
Process Engineer - Job Description:
This role involves working closely with engineering, sales, and operations to ensure the production of quality parts on time, safely, and profitably. The position focuses on project management, technical reviews, and process improvements.
Process Engineer - Responsibilities:
Help verify casting designs from customers and design pattern equipment for new orders
Design and interpret solidification simulations results
Follow orders through the shop for proper and efficient processing
Conduct technical reviews of purchase orders to ensure compliance with customer requirements
Develop detailed process instructions for legacy jobs
Communicate process instructions clearly to the shop floor and assist with any issues
Work with customers and outside vendors as needed
Estimate processing requirements for castings being quoted to assist sales
Analyze casting/scrap defects to assist with corrective actions and process improvements
Process Engineer - Mandatory Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
Experience with CAD/CAM software
Basic understanding of GD&T
Solidification simulation experience
Industrial blueprint reading skills
Strong communication skills
Effective teamwork and problem-solving abilities
Process Engineer - Nice-to-Have Skills:
Prior experience in a similar role
