Job description

Process Engineer

Job Description:

Process Engineer is responsible for sustaining existing GaAs IC, RF Power Transistors and Diodes and developing new processes in the area of both Wet and Dry Etch in the MACOM wafer fab located in Lowell, MA.

Specific responsibilities include:

 

Sustains the Etch area to meet all factory indicators;plans and conducts experiments to fully characterize the process throughout the development cycle, drives improvements on quality, reliability, cost, yield, process stability/capability, productivity and safety/ergonomic over variables such as material, method, equipment, environment and operating personnel. Successful candidate develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education, statistical knowledge, and problem-solving tools.
