Pay Range: $80,000-$95,000 annually
Working Schedule:

On-site
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Availability to occasionally support off-shift production activities when required.

Job Summary

As a Process Engineer, you will provide technical expertise and leadership to support safety, quality, productivity, and cost performance across our extrusion manufacturing operations. You will work closely with production teams to troubleshoot processes, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and support capital projects that improve plant performance.

This position reports directly to the Continuous Improvement Manager.

What you will be doing
  • Provide day-to-day technical support and troubleshooting for extrusion processes
  • Partner with supervisors, process leads, and operators to identify and implement process improvements
  • Lead and support projects focused on reducing downtime, improving quality, and reducing scrap
  • Analyze production data and develop recommendations to improve plant performance
  • Support capital projects and ensure delivery within scope, schedule, and budget
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and project progress
  • Promote and support safety, quality, environmental, and ergonomic improvement initiatives
What will make you successful?
Required Education/Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, Materials, Metallurgical, or related field) or 5+ years of relevant manufacturing experience
  • Minimum 3 years of Process Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a heavy industrial environment such as metals, aluminum, steel, mining, chemical processing, or similar industries
  • Strong communication skills in English, written and verbal
Preferred Skills/Qualifications
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures (temperatures may exceed 30C during summer)
  • Project management experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with SPC, process capability studies, and manufacturing statistics
  • Experience with SQL, VBA, AutoCAD, or SolidWorks
