Job description

POSITION SUMMARY: Help support the IT Operations team with network support requests and various projects.
*Bob Jones University students only*
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Audit and help standardize network racks throughout campus.
  • Document and map wireless access point locations on campus.
  • Monitor network and server performance using diagnostic tools.
  • Maintain accurate records of changes and troubleshooting steps.
  • Assist the network and system engineers.
  • Other duties as assigned by manager

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  • Good analytical skills
  • Good communication skills, written and oral
  • Ability to work as an individual contributor and as a team player
  • Willingness and aptitude to learn new skills, technologies, and processes
