The Massachusetts League of Community Health Centers (League) was founded in 1972 as one of the country's first state Primary Care Associations (PCAs). Established under the same federal authorizing legislation as the health center program (Section 330 of the Public Health Service Act), PCAs are organized around a set of core functions and competencies that provide a framework for support and assistance to health centers and the communities they serve.The League is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization registered as a public charity with the Commonwealth's Secretary of State. It maintains a professional staff at its headquarters in Boston and its training center in Worcester.Position SummaryThe Business Development Associate provides support to the CommonWealth Purchasing Group (CPG) Member Resource Consultants focused on expanding the CPG program through new member outreach and acquisition. This position works closely with the MRC's and Marketing Manager to generate leads and future business opportunities. Essential Functions:Work closely with new customers to set meetings for MRCs, and other members of the CPG Team.Support MRCs with daily sales activity including but not limited to:General sales follow-upSalesforce data collection and inputMeet sales objectives in coordination with the CPG strategic business plan.Provide monthly updates of success compared to sales objectives.Develop relationships with new customers via meetings, telephone calls and emails.Work with the Senior VP, VP, Director of Operations, and MRCs to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction amongst CPG's members.Track and process health center enrollment and help new members transition into initial contractsWork closely with the Marketing Manager and CPG vendors to develop a marketing plan and create high quality co-branded marketing materials.Generate business leads and support CPG team of Member Resource Consultants (MRCs) with up-to-date and aligned marketing materials.Work closely with the Senior VP, VP, Director of Operations, and MRCs to identify market and target new customers.Monitor the CPG Live-Chat line and the main company phone line.
