Job Overview

The Process Design Specialist supports the definition, documenting, and validation of scalable marketing processes that enable efficient execution, and consistent ways within marketing and aligned partner teams. This individual contributor role focuses on process discovery, analysis, and contributes to future state process development. The Specialist partners closely with marketing teams, and members of the process marketing transformation team to support process clarity, alignment to business outcomes, and ready for successful rollout and adoption. This role operates within defined frameworks and receives guidance on complex initiatives. It ideal for a process-minded problem solver who enjoys assisting in the development of structured, intuitive workflows and who thrives in collaborative, cross-functional environments.

What You Will Do

Process Discovery & Analysis

  • Conduct detailed process discovery across marketing and partner teams by: 
    • Documenting current state workflows
    • Identifying inefficiencies, pain points, and variation
    • Capturing roles, handoffs, inputs, outputs, and decision points
  • Gather insights through interviews, workshops, and working sessions with stakeholders 
  • Analyze findings for simplification, standardization, or automation

Future State Process Development

  • Contribute to the development of future state marketing processes
  • Assist in creating process maps and workflow diagrams
  • Document roles, responsibilities, and workflow steps 
  • Identify where automation or AI-enabled capabilities may support improved efficiency
  • Partner with stakeholders to review and refine proposed process changes

Platform & Automation Collaboration

  • Partner with marketing technology teams to provide process inputs that inform system workflows
  • Support identification of opportunities where automation and workflow improvements
  • Provide documentation that helps translate process needs into system configuration

Process Documentation & Implementation Readiness

  • Produce structured, standardized process documentation that is clear, structured, and reusable 
  • Support implementation planning and delivery alongside other members of the marketing transformation team

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

  • Support execution of initiatives under the guidance of senior team members
  • Work cross functionally with Marketing and aligned partner teams 
  • Incorporate feedback into process updates and improvements 
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, standardization, and scalable ways of working

Skills You Will Need

  • Strong foundational process design and analytical skills, with the ability to simplify complex workflows 
  • Experience documenting processes using mapping tools
  • Basic familiarity with automation and AI enabled workflows (e.g., intelligent routing or decision support) 
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional initiatives 

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of experience contributing to process design, business operations, or workflow optimization
  • Experience supporting cross-functional initiatives 
  • Familiarity with process documentation tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, or similar platforms 
  • Experience working with technology or platform teams 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Basic familiarity with marketing technology platforms or content supply chain tools (e.g., Adobe Workfront, AEM, Target) 
  • Exposure to workflow automation and AI enabled process capabilities 
  • Experience translating process designs into system, automation, or platform requirements

  • Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field are encouraged to apply. 
  • This role involves performing essential job functions such as communication, collaboration, and use of office and computer systems. Responsibilities include the ability to access and review written and electronic information, and to move within the work environment and interact with workplace materials as needed to carry out job responsibilities.
