Logistics Coordinator - Keep Operations Moving at ABEC
Be a key player behind what we build.
At ABEC, we design and build equipment that supports biopharmaceutical manufacturing. As a Logistics Coordinator, you'll play a critical role in ensuring materials and systems move efficiently through our operation-keeping projects on track and customers satisfied.
This is a hands-on, high-visibility role where your work directly impacts production timelines and delivery performance.
What You'll Do
Coordinate Shipments & Logistics
  • Manage inbound and outbound shipments (air, ground, and ocean)
  • Handle import/export documentation, including tariffs and harmonization codes
  • Work with carriers like DHL and FedEx to ensure reliable delivery

Manage Inventory & Material Flow
  • Track inventory and movements using ERP systems
  • Support Kanban replenishment through purchase requisitions
  • Coordinate shipments between:
    • Customers
    • Manufacturing teams
    • Subcontractors
    • Other ABEC locations

Ensure Accuracy & Compliance
  • Prepare key documents such as:
    • Bills of Lading (BOL)
    • Export documentation
    • Shipper's Letters of Instruction
  • Ensure shipments meet regulatory, weight, and dimension requirements
  • Maintain visibility on shipment status and update stakeholders accordingly

Problem Solve & Improve Processes
  • Resolve transportation and logistics issues as they arise
  • Manage freight claims from start to resolution
  • Identify and drive Continuous Improvement (CI) opportunities
