Mental Health Admissions Coordinator

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Admissions Coordinator to join our mental health facility. The Admissions Coordinator will be responsible for managing the admissions process for potential patients seeking mental health treatment. This includes conducting assessments, coordinating with medical staff and insurance companies, and ensuring that patients receive the care and support they need during their stay.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct initial patient assessments to determine the appropriate level of care and treatment needed
  • Coordinate with medical staff to ensure that patients receive appropriate care and treatment
  • Explain treatment options and programs to patients and their families
  • Provide crisis intervention services as needed
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients and families throughout the admissions process
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with facility policies and procedures
  • Ensure that patients are admitted to the facility in a timely and efficient manner
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure that patients receive comprehensive and coordinated care
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
